DESCRIPTION

MUMenu is a menubar item application that will check periodically for daily Mac OS X software updates at MacUpdate. You'll be able to browse small descriptions of the updated products, go to More Info pages, and download them. Highlighted updates (Hot Picks) are highlighted in red, and applications that are already installed on your Mac will display its appropriate icon. When a new update is posted, MUMenu icon in the menu bar will change color.

Problems? If MUMenu does not perform properly in any way, quit it and trash its preferences file (do a Find for "com.macupdate.mumenu.plist"), then relaunch MUMenu.

Note: Requests for additional features will not be followed through unless many people request the same feature. We don't want to bloat the software. We take the 37signals.com approach to software. Lean and mean.

SARASWATI  I love MUMenu and use it everyday. Thanks!

However, I have a little problem: I just upgraded to version 2.1.2 from the previous version and now the icon is in a different place in the menu bar. One is supposed to hold down the Command key and drag icons in the menu bar to rearrange them, but that does not work with MUMenu. Is there another way to move the icon in a different place on the menu bar?  (Version 2.1.2)

PAGANSOUL  I love Yep. I have tons of ebooks and manual on my MacPro, thousands, and setting up Yep I found stuff I long forgot about. Great having one place where I can distingish between Classic novel, romance, sci-fi, how-to manuals, short stories and my journal all in one place. Have not even gotten into checking out the other stuff.  (Version 2.1.2)

MUDFLAPPER  Love MUMenu. Never had a single problem with it in all the years I've been using it.

Add the ability to filter results and my Features rating of 4 will jump to a 5.  (Version 2.1.2)
