It is designed exclusively for Mac OS X and has many advanced features including spell checking, live browser previewing, PHP previewing, syntax checking, and much more. DIARBYRAG  Hey I used this program for a while when I was on the css learning curve and for free it was ok.

But 0 to 25$ is a step too far. 10$ maybe

But after a due consideration I decided it was way better to spend the necessary $'s extra to buy coda which is way better.

nice try, no cigar !

GHOKIE  Taco's a good little program. I used v1.x (free) for basic code management. However, $24.95 for this program is a little steep. I've switched to Smultron, which has basically the same functionality and is free/donationware.

If you're looking for a capable editor, give Smultron a try.

RICOBLUES  I've use Taco for a lot, making 15$ of dontation. The software was not implemented so I switch to SkEdit (great editor).

Programmers work must be supporte. Shareware is good, donationware too, but I'm very sad to know Taco is shareware without any information or upgrade policy.

Have a nice day. Riccardo.

TESLANAUT  Wow. Really surprised that out of no where and no warning that it is now shareware.

GLOBETROTTERDK  Absolutely great - and it is free of charge. Amazing. I only wish it was possible to edit files directly through Yummy FTP, the same way that TextWrangler can.

Keep up the good work!

IRNBRU001  I've used it for a while now and I'm not impressed. I find all the features clunky. It just is not smooth enough or crisp enough to use for large projects.

It's free but that doesn't make it worth using.

AKROBAT  It's not meant for large projects as you put it. I suggest you use Dreamweaver or one of the other 'pay-through-the-nose' apps. Eveyone else here finds it definately worth using, so... that's your problem really.

MATRIM  Now it works fine. I don't know what I was doing wrong but I changed some settings and now it works. The problem is, I'm not sure what I changed.

Anyways, thanks for replying.

MATRIM  I figured out what my problem was. I hadn't saved my file as *.php. Or, more accurately I hadn't saved it all.
